自发取向 (Transfer)

Step 1 – Complete all steps in the application and enrollment process
All steps in the application and enrollment process 必须 be completed before signing up for 自发取向.
自发取向 is 强制性的 for students who are incoming Transfer (students who have taken classes after high school).
Important: You 必须 submit your 应用 Texas application for the term you are applying before signing up for the orientation. Please refer to Step 1 for questions.

Step 2 - Select 自发取向
学生必须参加 强制性的 自发取向 where students will become familiar with the college campus, 了解校园资源, and select an 建议 appointment to meet with and advisor and register for classes.
Note: 自发取向 is for First Time in 大学 Students, 转学, and Returning or Former Students who have been out longer than a year.
- Note for 访问ing (Transient) Students: 访问ing (Transient) students who are only taking summer classes at NVC and will be returning to their home institution will 不 complete the 自发取向.
访问ing (Transient) students may self-register for courses through ACES once their enrollment steps are complete. Students who need assistance using ACES may visit the Vista中心: 招生 office on a walk-in basis, but they should meet with their academic advisors at their home institution for advising services to ensure that NVC courses will be accepted for transfer.
步骤3 -注册课程
At 自发取向 you will select an 建议 appointment to meet with and advisor and register for classes.
步骤4 -支付课程费用
Students are required to pay for their classes or ensure that their financial aid or applicable Veterans benefits are in place by the payment deadline or they will be dropped from courses and 必须 re-register.
Payment deadlines are always on Sunday at 1 p.m.
